Chelsea attacking players angry over the way they are been used by Thomas Tuchel

After Romelu Lukaku public call out on Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel in regards to his style of play and how he features him.

According to The Athletic, it’s not just Romelu Lukaku who is unhappy at the club, as most of it’s attacking players are in some kind of mood due to how they are used by Thomas Tuchel.

Chelsea has lots of attacking options with Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech. There is an unseen mood between theses players in accordance to how they are featured.

Lately, Timo Werner has been off the favoured line as the German is mostly and unused substitute. He’s quiet and haven’t spill any word about his new bench role but there are certainty that Timo isn’t pleased.

With Odoi moving up into the attacking role after a year of pairing the left-wing back position with Reece James and sometimes club captain, Azpilicueta. His new role has caused a little choked up situation with playing time for other players who are already up there.

Odoi’s ability to dribble and create chances, in addition to his speed has made him an easy select for Thomas Tuchel, leaving the likes of Christian Pulisic with a fight for playing time.

Pulisic’s comfort at Chelsea is in doubt as he’s slowly falling into playing the wing-back positions when the wing players are not available. Pulisic has played in both right wing-back and left wing-back positions in this month. A role that he visibly don’t look pleased about.

Kai on his part has a little struggle with playing time, as his false nine position is been bossed up by an actual striker.

Less playing time and irregular squad rotation has been some of the factors making Chelsea players unhappy. Most of the attacking players can’t define their roles in the team.

Lukaku outburst has created an edge for other players to state how they feel or at least seek to speak to Thomas Tuchel about their playing time and other pressing issues.

Chelsea has lost the touch they had when Thomas Tuchel first took over as the club manager. Loosing and drawing, dropping points. Chelsea has since fallen off the fight to win the English Premier League.
