The Telegraph announced Mauricio Pochettino has left his role as manager of Chelsea by mutual part agreement.

His sudden departure will come as a surprise to many with a lot of clubs in need of managers. Chelsea have started their search for a new manager with a few options on their list of managerial targets.

Brighton announced De Zerbi will leave the club after their final match of the season against Manchester United.

De Zerbi spent two years at Brighton after joining in September 2022, following the departure of Graham Potter. He influenced the way the club plays and masterminded top performances against the bigger sides. He also led the club to it’s highest top-flight finish last season, qualifying for Europa league where they exited at the last 16.

Chelsea are thought to be lining up a move for the out of job De Zerbi to replace the departing Mauricio Pochettino.

He admitted to be open to managing a club in the Premier League after the match versus Manchester United on final day.

The Italian has previously been linked with Liverpool prior to the Red’s agreement to hire Arne slot. He also courted brief interest from Bayern Munich and is being eyed to replace Ten Haag if the Dutchman is relieved of his duties.

If these reports are true, Chelsea are eyeing their second manager from Brighton after previously poaching Graham Potter.

Potter joined chelsea six games into the season after Tuchel was sacked following a champion’s league loss. He signed as Todd Boehly’s first managerial appointment and was tasked with steadying and rebuilding the club.

His supposed new era lasted 7 months and 31 games before he was relieved of his duties.
