Eden Hazard scores for the first time in seven months
Eden Hazard has registered a goal today for the first time in seven months as Real Madrid took on Elche in the Spanish Copa Del Rey
Hazard has fallen out of place in Madrid and has continuously struggled to get back his form. Used has an extra time substitute, Hazard came into replace Rodrygo in the 91st minute.
Real Madrid were reduced to 10 men after Marcelo was shown the red card. Elche took the lead in no time through Gonzalo Verdu, Real Madrid got an equalizer from Isco Alcaron.
In the 115th minute of extra time, Hazard got a true ball from David Alaba and the Belgian captain comfortably dribble past Elche goalkeeper who ran outside his 18 yard box, and scored a fine finishing.
With Hazard goal, Real Madrid proceed to the Quarter final of the Copa Del Rey.
Hazard in recent days has been linked with a return back to Chelsea. The Belgian has struggled to get playing time since the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti.
