England supporter’s new chant for Phil Foden trends on X ahead of England’s Euros curtain-raiser versus Serbia.

England fans know that they will need their star players spurred on if they are to finally win a major international tournament.

The three lions kick off their campaign in the 2024 Euros against Serbia in what promises to be an entertaining game.

After England’s shock loss to Iceland in their final warmup game, they are well aware that there are no easy games at this level. If not anything, they are at least well aware of the threat posed by the South Eastern Europeans in attack.

Phil Foden scored 27 goals and assisted 12 times in Manchester City’s fourth title on the trot campaign. His attacking exploits saw him win the Football Writers’ Player of the Season ahead of some of his England teammates.

It is he the England fans have chosen to laud with a new chant, sung to the tune of  ‘Dancing in the Dark’ by Bruce Springsteen.

The video has already racked up close to 800,000 views on X with the song surely already one of the best at Euro 2024 so far.

England are among the favorites to win this year’s European championships after falling short at the final last time out. They will be hoping to deliver on their talents and expectations as they get this campaign underway.
