Garnacho maintains Ronaldo is the GOAT despite Aguero’s caution
Argentina youngster Alejandro Garnacho has maintained his stand, as he named Portugal national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo the Greatest footballer of all time (GOAT), again ahead of his compatriot Lionel Andres Messi, after he scored a goal in Manchester United’s remarkable 3-0 victory over Brentford football club at Old Trafford on Monday night.
The Manchester United Football Academy product made his senior debut for the Red Devils few weeks ago, and he has the opportunity to play with Cristiano Ronaldo in a competitive match.
The youngster was given a Matchday ball by Cristiano Ronaldo after he scored a hat-trick in the team’s remarkable 3-2 victory over already relegated Norwich City football club two weeks ago, and excited Alejandro Garnacho posted a picture of himself and Cristiano Ronaldo on his verified Instagram handle with the caption of ‘greatest footballer of all time’.
Former Manchester City football club star Sergio Aguero was not happy with the youngster’s decision to name Cristiano Ronaldo as the greatest footballer of all time, and he cautioned him by telling him that ‘he said it because he has never played with Lionel Messi’ who is his compatriot.
Garnacho was an unused substitute for Manchester United football club of England against Brentford football club on Monday night, but he was unable to hide his excitement after Cristiano Ronaldo scored the second goal of the game.
Reacting to Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal against Brentford football club, Garnacho posted Ronaldo’s picture on his verified Instagram handle with the caption of;
“Siiiiiuuuuuu Cristiano Ronaldo the GOAT, great win guys, now focused on Saturday.”
