“I wish I had the chance to play alongside you” – John Terry reacts to Thiago Silva’s heroic against Tottenham
Chelsea legend, John Terry has applaud Thiago Silva after the Brazilian put on a heroic display against Tottenham during the weekend.
Thiago Silva put on a man of the match performance winning all ground duels, tackles and scoring the first goal of the match, after nodding in a fine cross from Marcos Alonso.
Former Chelsea captain couldn’t hold back the exciting after the match, going into Silva’s comment section on Instagram to inform the defender that he wished they played together.
“What a player! I wish I had the pleasure to play alongside you mate! Legend”
The 36 year old defender was let of out Paris Saint Germain where he last played under same Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel for being old. He signed a short term contract for Chelsea and has since proven his age doesn’t have an effect on him. Winning the Champions League and Super Cup.
Silva has also confirmed he will represent his country, Brazil at the 2022 Olympics in Qatar. He’ll be 37 at the time.
