Karim Adeyemi’s socks revealed the colors of the Nigerian flag stitched onto them. He wore these socks during his side’s 2-0 win over Bayern Munich.

Karim Adeyemi scored the opening goal ten minutes into the De Klassikier encounter with Bayern. The forward stunned the Allianz Arena inside 10 minutes, stealing behind Eric Dier to stab Dortmund ahead.

Before the game, Dortmund were on a miserable 11 match winless run versus Bayern Munich. The reverse fixture at Signal Iduna park ended in a comprehensive victory for Bayern Munich.

Adeyemi opted to represent Germany on the international level but has always remained in touch with his Nigerian roots.

The speedster recently revealed that Nigerian delicacy “fufu”, is the secret to his speed often shown on the pitch.

His match worn socks had his initials printed underneath the Nigerian flag.

The German international has made 24 appearances this season, starting just 10 of those. He has 5 goals and 2 assists in those ten starts, with his goal versus Bayern sending his side on the way.

He will hope to feature more prominently from now until the end of the season for Edin Terziç’s side.
