Manchester United winger, Mason Greenwood accused by his girlfriend for rape and sexual related assault and has been arrested.
Hours after Manchester United confirmed Mason Greenwood won’t be returning to training or playing any match for the team till further notice, reports has it that Mason Greenwood has been arrested for suspicion of rape and assault.
Mason Greenwood took up the trend table after his girlfriend, Harriet Robson shared images of injuries she sustained after the player dehumanized her.
Confirming the arrest, Greater Manchester Police said;
Greater Manchester Police was made aware earlier today (Sunday 30 January) of online social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting incidents of physical violence.
“An investigation was launched and following enquiries we can confirm a man in his 20s has since been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault.
“He remains in custody for questioning. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Those in relation to Mason Greenwood has begun to show concern for the disturbing event trailed around the player.
Mason Greenwood is a 20-year-old Manchester United academy graduate whose special skills sprang up his career at a very young age.
