Messi sends his seventh Balon D’or trophy to Barcelona meseum
Paris Saint-Germain player, Lionel Messi has reportedly sent his seventh Balon D’or trophy to his former club, FC Barcelona’s meseum.
Lionel Messi won his seventh Balon D’or title after beating Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Chelsea’s Jorginho to clinch the trophy.
With his win, Messi became the first Paris Saint-Germain player to lift the prestigious French Magazine award in the 21st century.
Messi has previously won six of the title with Barcelona before the sad incident that led to him leaving the Spanish giant. With rumors of possible return to the Camp Nou, Messi has made it believable he’s returning to Spain.
With six of his previously won Balon D’or trophies kept in the Barcelona meseum, Messi has sent his seventh to the Spanish giant, where it will be kept in same meseum.
These being a prove that the Argentine is considering returning to the club who made him a global star.
