Pep Guardiola becomes the fastest manager to reach 150 wins in the Premier League
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has become the fastest manager in the English Premier League history to reach 150 wins, surpassing for Chelsea and Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho.
Pep Guardiola became City boss in 2016 after leaving German giant, Bayern Munich. The Spaniard has proven himself as one of the best managers in football history, as he always has high win margin compared to his losses.
The “over-thinker” as he’s fondly referred to, became the fastest ever manager to reach 150 wins in the English Premier League history, with his win over Aston Villa after playing 203 matches. Overtaking the likes of Jose Mourinho who played 230 matches, Sir Alex Ferguson with 247 matches and Arsene Wenger with 258 games.
Pep’s Manchester City are currently sitting at the second position on the Premier League table, just one point behind league leaders, Chelsea.
