Marcus Rashford offside involvement in the buildup of Manchester United first goal against Manchester City was ignored by English referee, Stuart Attwell in a disastrous decision.
Manchester City was leading by one goal in the Manchester derby till Casemiro pass to Marcus Rashford in an offside position. Rashford ran towards the ball, guiding it till Bruno Fernandez shot it past Manchester City goalkeeper, Ederson.
The linesman raised his flag for offside but the referee overturned the linesman decision and awarded the goal, causing chaos between opposition players and fans.
A closer view at the goal, shows it shouldn’t be awarded a goal. Rashford involvement and running after the ball was enough for an offside call.

According to FIFA rule, a player who influences play even without touching the ball should be awarded offside if the players offside position interferes with the opponent.
Rashford running towards the ball and obstructing Manchester City’s Akanji from getting the ball interfered with his opponent. So according to FIFA rule, Marcus Rashford was offside.
