Real Madrid players planned on making fun of Mohamed Salah in UCL final – Rodrygo

Real Madrid star, Rodrygo has admitted his teammates were all out on making fun of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah after their CL final win.

Salah had tweeted “we have scores to settle” just after Real Madrid eliminated Manchester City to qualify for the final, thinking of giving a payback of the CL final where Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 4-0.

Liverpool went into the final looking like the stronger team but was met with a great shocker after they went down by a lone goal and lost the final against Real Madrid for a second time.

Salah statement provoked Real Madrid players and they responded immediately they won the trophy.

“When a guy provokes someone, sometimes you just want to win so you can make fun of them. In training [before the CL final] we used to say ‘come Salah, come Salah’… In our head it was already: ‘We have to win to make fun of Salah’,” Rodrygo has said via Podpah podcast.

“When the Champions League final was over, Modric passed in front of Salah and said ‘next time you try again’,” the Brazilian added.

Mohamed Salah couldn’t stop talking about his desire to take revenge for the lost Champions League final of 2018. The payback was unsuccessful as Real Madrid won their second-straight CL final against Liverpool.
