Shakhtar Donetsk coach killed in war between Russia and Ukraine

CEO of Shakhtar Donetsk, Serhil Palkin has announced the death of the club’s youth coach as a result of the ongoing fracas between Russia and Ukraine.

Russia and Ukraine are currently in a loggerhead after Russia launched an attack on Ukraine over their involvement in NATO.

Ukraine team, Shakhtar Donetsk has lost their youth team coach, who was struck by fragments of a bullet shot by Russian fighters. The Club CEO made the announcement of his death.

The late Shakhtar Donetsk coach will become the third football sport man who have become victim of the ongoing war, with the first two being 19-year-old Vitalii Sapylo and 25-year-old Dmytro Martynenko.
