Symbols of the 8 rings Messi was gifted by Adidas

Adidas gifted Lionel Messi 8 rings to celebrate his milestone for a record 8 Ballon d’OR win, after the Argentine clinch the trophy ahead of Erling Haaland on October 30th 2023.

Since winning his first Ballon d’OR in 2009, Messi went on to win seven more across three decades. He ultimately became the highest holder of the Ballon d’OR and the only footballer to have won the prestigious trophy across three different decades.

While the Messi’s achievements is being celebrated all over the World, Adidas decided to make it even special by gifting Messi 8 golds rings with each symbolizing each Ballon d’OR trophy and an historic achievement he had that year.
