Thomas Tuchel reaches 4th final in less than 12 months at Chelsea

Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel has tonight reach his 4th final in less than 12 months of coaching the London based English team.

Chelsea appointed PSG sacked Thomas Tuchel after former club legend, Frank Lampard had a poor outing coaching the club despite his huge money transfers, signing the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech etc. Tuchel took over mid into the 2020/2021 season when Chelsea stood at the 9th position in the English Premier League table.

Playing Villarreal in the final, the match ended in a 1 – 1 draw, sending the match into decisive penalty shootouts. Chelsea won the shootout with goal keeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga stopping two penalties from the Yellows.

Quick into the 2021/2022 season, Thomas Tuchel has led his boys to the EFL Cup final, awaiting who ever qualifies from the Liverpool vs Arsenal match scheduled for 13th January. Making the EFL Cup final in view.
