Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga has caused controversies after he stepped up as a player to keep Tottenham’s Harry Kane offside while Antonio Rudiger who was the last man stands in as a goalkeeper.
Chelsea faced Tottenham in the second leg showdown of the EFL Cup after defeating the fellow London team 2 – 0 at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea also came out winners in the second leg after a lone goal from Rudiger made the difference in the match.
Kepa Arrizabalaga pulled an impressive high IQ stunt that caused unbelievable chaos amongst Spurs fans. Chelsea defenders mismanaged a passed and Spurs Lucas Moura got the ball, Kepa quickly ran out of his 16 yard box after sighting Antonio Rudiger running into the 16 to guide the goalpost, making sure he kept Harry Kane offside. Lucas Moura squeezed a pass to Kane who was already offside from Kepa’s setting, Kane scored the goal but it was called off and ruled out for offside.

Chelsea fan has since begin to shower praises on the Spanish keeper, commending his high level of intelligence. Kepa had a superb fine outing against Spurs making Chelsea believe there are no worries in the absence of Mendy who’s out with Senegal in the ongoing African Cup Of Nations.
