Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals the cause of his fallout with Pep Guardiola at Barcelona

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed the cause of the fallout he had with Pep Guardiola during his short spell with Spanish giants, Barcelona.

Pep Guardiola and Ibrahimovic had a not too pleasant relationship after the Catalans bought the Swedish international from Inter Milan to further enforce their attack. Ibrahimovic had to stay only a single season in Spain due to their sour relationship.

Ibrahimovic once mentioned he was tired of Pep bringing up his philosophy and so he didn’t listen to them. He one’s told Pep to go to hell, after Barca lost in the Champions League semi-final to Inter Milan.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic ignores Pep Guardiola after he was subbed off.

“Guardiola was staring at me and I lost it. I thought, ‘there is my enemy, scratching his bald head!’ I yelled: ‘You haven’t got any b***s!’ and worse than that I added: ‘You can go to hell!’ I completely lost it, and you might have expected Guardiola to say a few words in response, but he’s a spineless coward.”

In a recent interview, the current AC Milan striker disclosed why his relationship with the current Manchester City boss was bitter, stating that the Spanish coach never understood him.

Zlatan Ibrahimović: “Guardiola never understood me. He wanted to program everything I had to do on the pitch. Guardiola doesn’t like players with personality. I became a problem and since he couldn’t solve it, I solved it by leaving.”

Since patching ways, the duo has encountered themselves on the pitch with most time neglecting each other.
