Zlatan Ibrahimović: Guardiola doesn’t like players with personality

Ac Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimović has come out to speak on his relation with Manchester city boss, Pep Guardiola. Guardiola managed Ibrahimovic during his spell at Barcelona.  Zlatan didn’t last long at the Nou Camp – after one season he was loaned to AC Milan, who he joined permanently the year after.  And the 40-year-old, who is now back at the San Siro, has once again blamed Guardiola for what has been pretty much his only failed move in an otherwise impeccable career.

Ibrahimovic certainly has a point regarding his first six months at Barca. Before the turn of 2010, he’d registered 16 goal involvements in 13 games. But the goals then began to dry up and by the end of the season, he was often being left out of the squad or only used as a substitute.

Zlatan speaking,

“Guadiola never understood me. He wanted to program everything i had to do on the pitch. Guardiola doesn’t like players with personality. I became a problem and since he couldn’t solve it, I solved it by leaving”.

Guardiola is currently having a good time at manchester city, where he has won several trophies and recently became the fastest manager to reach 150 wins in the premier league ahead of Sir Alex Fergurson and Klopp.

Zlatan Ibrahimović recently signed a contract extension at Ac Milan, which will keep Him at the club. Zlatan Ibrahimović has played a total of 144 games and scored 90 goals for the club. He is expected to play at the World Cup in Qatar if sweden qualify for the World Cup.
