Rumors of Arsenal monitoring Viktor Gyökeres have emerged today and it comes as no surprise. Since the start of the season, Arsenal have been linked to every striker who has scored more than Gabriel Jesus.

The Arsenal man’s problems are well documented and it adds to the frustration that he doesn’t score enough goals. In Jesus’ defense, he is very crucial to the way Arsenal play and the team tends to share goals around.

Today, rumors of Arsenal monitoring Victor Gyökeres have surfaced. Reports even suggest they have sent scouts to monitor the swedish international who has 31 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.

Gyökeres won’t come cheap though and he certainly won’t come easy. Sporting have slapped a 100m price tag on the former Coventry man thanks to his performances.

With the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea also showing interest, Arsenal may have to act fast if they are genuinely interested in Gyökeres.

Arsenal will have bitter memories of not acting swiftly when it comes to moving for transfer targets. They recently missed out on targets like Mykhailo Mudryk and Caicedo, both to Chelsea.
