Arsenal completes the signing of Auston Trusty from Colorado Rapids

Arsenal have completed the signing of MLS defender, Auston Trusty from Colorado Rapids on the transfer deadline day as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

The 23-year-old American will remain in the MLS until the summer, when he will move to England and begin his new challenge with Arsenal.

Arsenal owner, Stan Kroenke played a massive role in bringing the former Philadelphia Union player. The centre-back will officially depart for England on July 17, as per Colorado’s official club statement.

This would be Arsenal second signing from the MLS this transfer window after landing USMNT goalkeeper, Matt Turner from New England last week.

Matt Turner will also join up with the Gunners this summer when Bernd Leno is expected to depart. Turner will then take over the reins as No 2 to Aaron Ramsdale.
