Arsenal to splash £100m to land Nicholas Nkunku
Arsenal is reportedly ready to agree on a deal to secure the services of a 24-year-old Nicholas Nkunku, who plays for RB Leipzig this summer, according to reports.
The 24-year-old winger has been in a stunning form since he joined the German outfits from Paris Saint-Germain, and has been highly demanded by hosts of European top clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta will be in the market in search of reinforcement this summer, to be in a good position to compete for the Premier League title and also make it to the Champions League, after being slightly chased off by Tottenham Hotspur.
According to The Express, RB Leipzig has reportedly slapped a record fee of £100m on the French star, who is deemed their prize asset, but Arsenal is ready to pay the massive price to bring the in-demand playmaker to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Nkunku was able to score 35 goals in all competitions for RB Leipzig in the last season and would be a great addition to Arsenal, whose attackers couldn’t provide them with enough goals to make them qualify for the Champions League in the last season.
