Advantage Arsenal in the UCL quarter final clash versus Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich

It appears Arsenal are already one up in their quarter final tie as Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich fans have been banned from the Emirates for the UCL away leg.

The ban results from Bayern supporters throwing fireworks on to the pitch during the victory versus Lazio in early March. This prompted UEFA into ruling that Bayern fans can not but away tickets in the competition for one match.

The ruling itself results from an accumulation of offences with the fans guilty of the same offense, this time against Copenhagen.

Arsenal were drawn against Bayern on Friday and have been handed a difficult route to the final. Should they win this tie which would by no means be easy, they face the winner of the tie between Manchester City and Real Madrid.

They will have the help of their fans in the first leg of the tie at the Emirates though. Arsenal have been allowed to fill up the space supposed to be occupied by Bayern supporters with their own fans.

The Emirates have been one of the most daunting places to visit this season for many sides. Arsenal have already beaten the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle in the league. They have also been sweeping teams aside since the turn of the year.

Despite the fact that Bayern Munich fans have been banned from the Emirates, they can still count on the services of Harry Kane.

The England forward appears to have Arsenal’s number and has a good scoring record against them.
