Huge blow for Arsenal as Manchester United duo return for Old Trafford trip

Lizandro Martinez and Rashford have returned to Manchester United training ahead of Arsenal game.

Floundering Manchester United are looking to return to winning ways after their record breaking loss to Crystal Palace.

Arsenal however look to sustain the pressure on City by winning to keep their faint title hopes alive. The gunners are hoping fellow Londoners Fulham can do them a favor by getting a result against City. They [Arsenal] need to win at Old Trafford if any positive Fulham result is to have any meaning.

Arsenal fans were recently incensed by a video of Fulham players flying a kite in training ahead of their match against City. Andreas Pereira have since come out to clarify that the video was shot after training.

Guardiola took a subtle dig at Manchester United

Guardiola then took the liberty of taking a swipe at noisy neighbors Manchester United and their fortunes this season.

If we play Fulham before or after Arsenal, we still have to win. And Arsenal know they have to win. Not just the players, the staff, the fans  everyone knows. You cannot make one little mistake, because you will lose the Premier League.”

He however hopes Manchester United can do them a favor when they welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford in the penultimate game of the season.

“It’s not complicated. It doesn’t matter if we play before or after. Hopefully we win against Fulham, then Arsenal will play at Old Trafford, where they [Man United] are playing for the Europa League.”

Manchester United will have to decide if they want to hand Arsenal or Manchester City the title. The Red Devils have a past with Arsenal where till date no love is lost despite the recent gap in class between the two.

Their relationship with Manchester City however goes without saying. It must be said, however, that they may have a role to play in deciding where the title ends up.
