Ronaldo handshake proposal snubbed by Al-Taawoun’s Leandre Tawamba

Cristiano Ronaldo again starred impressively in Al Nassr 2-1 win over Al-Taawoun in the Saudi Arabia League. The match was rocked by an incident of Ronaldo handshake offer being snubbed by an Al-Taawoun player.

Ronaldo provided the assist for both Al Nassr goals but their was a little complication with Ronaldo’s positioning for the second goal. The referee had already called it for offside before the intervention of VAR for confirmation.

Just as VAR confirmed Ronaldo was onside and awarded the goal, the five time Ballon d’OR winner turned and presented his hand to Leandre Gael Tawamba Kana for a handshake, but the sad player rejected and walk away.

Leandre Tawamba, a Cameroonian attacker was angry at referee’s decision to award the goal with less then 20 minutes of play time left.

Fans are reacting to the footage saying he should thankful for Ronaldo to demand a handshake from him.
