UK singer, Adele celebrate Messi and Argentina win over Netherlands at her concert

British singer, Adele paused her concert to celebrate Messi and Argentina as they proceed to the Semi-Final of the World Cup after defeating The Netherlands on penalty.

Argentina faced The Netherlands in the Quarter final of the World Cup at the Lusail Stadium. Argentina took the lead in the first half from Molina after controlling a fine pass from Lionel Messi.

The only South American nation left in the tournament extended their lead through Messi at the spot after The Netherlands Dumfries tripped Acuna at the edge of eighteen yard box.

Lionel Sconali men had the longest 45 minutes of their lives in the second half. The Netherlands pulled a late performance got two past Argentina’s Emiliano Martinez, sending the match into extra time.

A fruitless extra time sent the match into penalties. With The Netherlands missing the first two strikes of the penalty, Argentina were able to secure the win despite missing one of theirs later in the shootout.

Argentina went through into the Semis despite the gutted atmosphere from both countries.

Adele who have formally identified to be a great admirer of Lionel Messi couldn’t hold down her happy mood.

The ‘Hello’ crooner paused her performance and celebrated Argentina qualification with thousands of her fans, thanking God Messi and Argentina progress to the semi final of the World Cup.

Argentina will face Croatia in the Semi Final on Tuesday, 13th December. The winner will face either winners between Morocco and France.
