Even the most faithful gooner has to admit that the chances of them winning the league against this City side is miniscule. But that’s the thing about football, even the tiniest chance IS a chance and it gives you hope. But that the thing about hope, it’s the hope that kills you.
Whatever happens, the manner of their 3-0 victory over Bournemouth told us everything we know about them already. Mesmerizing in attack, tough in defense and able to weather storms.
Maybe not now, but surely in the coming seasons for Arsenal?
Erling Haaland and Manchester City Eliminate Wolves in pressure-dousing victory
Some genuinely believed Wolves would pose City problems in their Saturday evening fixture at the Etihad.
The pressure was on them following Arsenal win over Bournemouth but led by Haaland they completed obliterated Wolves.
Pressure on City? What pressure?. But I’m sure they know that if they drop points the title may be as good as gone. It is in this reality that Manchester City shine through though and this must be a sore sight for Arsenal faithfuls.
Liverpool’s pulsating victory over Tottenham just a meaningless routine victory?
Liverpool delivered 60 minutes of searing hot football as they repeated cut through spurs en route to going 4-0 up.
Tottenham went on to make the score line a respectable 4-2 loss. However, the win is nothing short of what Liverpool deserves after a few difficult weeks.
Liverpool can still win the league, mathematically, but surely, its a little too late. None of the sides above them can afford to drop points and no one expects them to. But one can only hope…

Manchester United do need Surgery but the first one out should be Erik Ten Haag
What kind of a loss was that by the way?. They faced 18 shots, with 10 on target in another record breaking performance.
They have had a number of injuries..too many to be fair but a club of United’s status should not be losing to Crystal Palace by that margin. I mean, with all respect to Crystal Palace.
The club need to act. Whether now or in the summer but there will be wholesale changes at United this summer and Erik Ten Haag should be the first one out.
His recent interviews have been peppered with subtle pleas to keep his job but he can’t convince anyone that he is the right man for the job. Not with this kind of performance anyway.

Sheffield United set a new record for the most goals conceded by a Premier League team in a 38-match season. It’s now 100 goals conceded and there is two more games for them to extend this record. Their relegation is already confirmed and after one season in the top flight, it’s the same way back down.
Relegation zone mates Luton and Burnley still retain slim hopes of maintaining their top flight status.
Luton have two tricky but fairly easier fixtures to contend with in the final games of the season. There is so much riding on the final game of the season with Nottingham Forest and Burnley to clash.
It is in that last fixture where all will be won and lost for all three sides in the end.
