Meet Ethan Nwaneri the 15-year-old on Arsenal squad list against Brentford

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has included 15-year-old Ethan Nwaneri in Arsenal’s squad list to face Brentford in the Premier League.

Nwaneri a young schoolboy who has shown class in Arsenal academy, been closely monitored by Arsenal first team coaches.

With club captain, Martin Ødegaard and Zinchenko out injured, Ethan Nwaneri gets invited to train with the first team, after am impressive training session, Nwaneri made the squad list.

Age and Education

Ethan Nwaneri born in March 2007, is only 15-year-old. Fans are out cruising about him not being born when the Emirate stadium was built.

The midfielder was only made his debut in Arsenal’s u21 team earlier this month. The young player is yet to finish his GCSE’s and would go back to school after featuring in today’s match.

If Ethan Nwaneri makes his debut today he becomes the youngest first team player in the history of Arsenal and the Premier League‘s youngest debutant.

The young English player hold a double citizenship. Born and raised in England, he’s British and can represent England in international competitions.

Despite being born in England, Ethan Nwaneri has a root back to Africa. His parents are Nigerian and of Igbo tribe. Nwaneri can also represent Nigeria in the national team.
