Ramos gets touching message from Mbappé after scoring the winning goal versus Getafe

Sergio Ramos scored the winning goal for Sevilla on his 38th birthday in their 1-0 away win versus Getafe. The defender appeared elated to score the goal on his birthday, netting just 5 minute into the encounter.

Kylian Mbappe uploaded a picture of the pair on social media and added a touching “miss you” message Ramos.

Ramos and Mbappe Bromance

Mbappe and Ramos formed a close bond during their time together at Paris Saint-Germain. Sergio Ramos joined Mbappé at PSG in 2021 after leaving Real Madrid and spent 2 seasons at the club. The Spaniard departed PSG, after winning two titles at the club, in a cloud station that it was the end of a cycle.

During his time at the club, Sergio Ramos shared the pitch with Mbappé over 50 times and also shared a bond off it.

The bond between Mbappe and Ramos is further evident in their December exchange. Sergio Ramos called Mbappé to wish the forward well on his 25th birthday, joined by Archaf Hakimi. Ramos screen grabbed a moment in the call and captioned it: “I miss you guys.”

Mbappe replied promptly, “Papa, I miss you.”

Now, after Sergio Ramos scored the winning goal for Sevilla on his 38th birthday in their 1-0 away win versus Getafe, Mbappé has taken to Instagram to wish the defender well on his special day. In his message, Mbappe wrote: “Happy birthday brother. The best for you always. Miss you.”

Mbappé set to follow Ramos out of PSG

Mbappe is set to move to Real Madrid in the summer after announcing his desire to depart PSG.

Mbappe also mentioned that his future will be resolved before the Euros with just the official announcement remaining.

The Frenchman has reportedly sought advice from Ramos on settling into life in the Spanish capital.
